Lions Gate Bridge

Opened in 1938, this iconic suspension bridge is not only a major artery in Vancouver’s infrastructure, the bridge is a well-known landmark that can be seen from downtown and the North Shore.  Spanning a total of 5,981 feet (including the North viaduct), with a height of 364 feet, the bridge is both eye catching and impressive.  At night, Lions Gate Bridge lights up and can be seen in the distance with the white Christmas-like lights sparkling in the skyline. From the Vancouver seawall, the bridge in the day and at night is a local and visitor favourite for taking pictures. In 2005, Lions Gate Bridge was designated a National Historic Site of Canada.  With the Vancouver Watch Company “Lions Gate Bridge” Watch, you will be sure to never let the iconic bridge escape your memory.
